Corsair neutron xt/xtb difference ?

Recommended Posts

Hi !

i'd like to purchase a corsair ssd, but my store have 2 models, cssd-n480gbxtb and cssdn480gbxt, with +/- 25% price difference, the non-b model is more expensive.

Is there any big difference between these models, can't find answer anywhere...

Thanks a lot,

regards,

Chris

I would have you buy from a vertically integrated provider, Samsung, Micron, Intel, etc. Corsair doesn't bring anything to the table that's beneficial for the drive and actually introduces lag in the support structure when/if issues are reported and firmware needs to be updated for instance. What's the need and budget?

ok, i'm just looking for a system ssd, and in the leaderboard the neutron xt is tested as the best (or barely) real-world performer, i thought it would be a good choice.

Oh, you're right...we may need to consider that for an update. I'd just steer you toward something more value oriented then. 850 EVO or even the Trion series. There are often deals on both to get the price down even further.
