SHODAN 1 Report post Posted November 17, 2015 I cannot log-in to update the reliability survey. I get the error: Cannot open /usr/share/nginx/html/sr_www/php/etc/elite_pw_1.txt
Brian 157 Report post Posted November 17, 2015 Yeah, it's been more or less mothballed. We've contrived of new methodologies to replace it but just haven't found a lot of demand for the data.
SHODAN 1 Report post Posted November 18, 2015 I am sorry to hear that. It has seemed a bit out of date I'll admit, but I've always greatly valued the data myself.
MiG 1 Report post Posted February 14, 2016 Yeah, it's been more or less mothballed. We've contrived of new methodologies to replace it but just haven't found a lot of demand for the data. I'm curious... What new methodologies would these be? Although individual drive reliability accuracy depends on the representativeness of the drives entered, at the very least you can see how certain families are doing, which I find quite useful when contemplating a storage array upgrade. Brian 157 Report post Posted February 14, 2016 We've been through a few ideas to incorporate flash specifically, but again, when buying a drive the warranty and luck play more of a role than anything. We also found it difficult previously to root cause the issue to know if users were reporting accurately. Anyway, I get your point though and we'll try to do something about this.
