The Personal Cloud uses Seagate’s Media application and Sdrive to stream its contents to several devices including: Smart TVs (LG and Samsung 2012 models or later), Blu-Ray players (with Smart-hub again 2012 models or later), iOS and Android smartphones, iPad, Android, Kindle, and Windows 8/RT tablets, streaming media players such as Roku, Google Chromecast, and Apple TV (via Apple AirPlay) and DLNA devices such as Sony’s PlayStation 3 & 4, and Xbox 360 & Xbox One. Users can access and manage their multimedia library from anywhere with the Seagate Media app or through a Seagate Access account.

That read speed seems terrible. Are you sure it's correct? It would be useful to know what SoC it uses and how much RAM it contains. Can you include this in the specs? Thanks.

We've seen this before on some entry-level devices with our higher load read test. We have 16 threads of sequential read, which thrashes some devices that can't cache as well.

NAS HDD inside I assume? Also, it does not look like it's user-serviceable either?

Correct, there are two 4TB Seagate NAS HDD inside. On the opposite side of the power button is another button that releases the top cover where user can access the drives. Both drives are held in by two screws on the side (four screws per drive total) and can be removed.

That's quite useful, thanks! Also from the form factor I don't think there is any active cooling either, which makes it a great home theater addition I suppose.
