Is this Samsung 843T a good buy?

Recommended Posts

I've been looking online for various SSDs, and I was leaning in favor of the Micron MX100 (for obvious reasons - price:performance).

Anyways, a quick check and I found something else of interest:

Is this a good deal? It is somewhat more expensive but you get eMLC, and real power loss protection (the Micron drive is not complete enterprise level power loss protection).

The seller claims that they are new drives as well.

Depends what you want to do with it. What's the use case?

Generally speaking though I wouldn't trust an SSD purchase from eBay.

Mostly a day to day drive.

My big concern is whether the seller is being truthful in that the drives are unused or not, or if there's something else wrong with these drives.
