They can. The only problem is this is an extremely small sample size and the data is fun, but not statistically relevant.

Yeah there is that problem. For a large scale test you'd need hundreds at least of each model.

Although it's interesting watching the SSDs age as time goes on I have to admit. Do you think that the smaller NAND will adversely affect life span as much, now that 16 nm is starting to roll out?

Possibly, but hard to tell, especially this early. 16nm has a short life as 3D NAND rolls out any day in client drives.

How long could that be? I've heard at least 1-2 years.

That and how small could NAND get before we hit physical limits? 10nm?
