Transfer Cable

Recommended Posts

Hello

I'm pretty new to the SSD installation...to be honest, to the SSD in general. I was wondering if I would be able to use my Seagate 320gb external hard drive sata transfer cable to clone my HDD onto a newly ordered SSD? Please dont bash on me about it. Just trying to find some help and I'm pretty sure I could get some answers here.

As long as the cable plugs into the SSD and powers it, then it should work.

Also, what cloning software are you going to use? Make sure it is the latest version aswell.

I was planning on using "Super Duper" because I want to do this upgrade for my iMac. If i decide otherwise and choose to upgrade my Asus laptop...i havent gone that far. Easeus partition master?
