Nice review! Thank you.

A question from a newby!

There is a limit to extend memory with micro-SD cards on mobile phones. Is this the case as well for laptops?

How can I get the information for

  • Primary Drive Bay: 7mm 2.5-inch SATA Hard Drive or SSD?
  • mSATA Slot: Compatible with all newer mSATA SSDs?

I have the same question for the RAM.

Thanks for the reply.

Wow, you dug up an old one.

The SD card is a storage volume, it doesn't add to memory. They're fine for holding files that are backed up elsewhere but they're not ideal as primary storage.

Yes you can use an SSD in the main bay and the mSATA slot, though there are few options for the latter.

Indeed, it's an old post. As is my old x220t, which is even faster than many of newer laptops :)

I will go for mSATA. I realized that the main bay is already used.

Can you please tell be a bit more about "the few options" you mentioned in your post, concerning the mSATA slot?
