Well considering SD is the kind of hype(marketing acronyms of dubious performance value) and vaporware leader in the SSD market :P. Remember how the G3 series was supposed to have 'disruptive' performance...compared to HDD's, lol. And how the soon to be in production G3 series would be available at lower prices than the current competition, for same or better level performance? ....And topping out at 256GB capacity? And available for boosting legacy laptop performance in the PATA versions?

More than a year after the announcement of the G3, they finally shipped SATA only, up to 128GB drives...by then surpassed in performance by many others...big yawn.

Sandisk gets the Pinnochio award from me :D. Let me know when the reviews come out on the currently *shipping* products from SD.
