So now both Seagate and Hitachi have "announced" 500GB drives? Any idea when we'll be seeing these? Hopefully should drive down the price of models around the 300GB mark... I'm holding out to get a few more drives.

Maxtor has also "announced" 500Gb drives that are not for sale yet :huh:

Samsung, Fujitsu, and WD, although Fujitsu primarily make SCSI drives.

Fujitsu only currently markets SCSI and portable (2.5") storage solutions.
