Reading HDD Temp

Recommended Posts

Hi

I was wondering if anyone knew of a program that could be run (preferable under windows) to read the temperature of the harddisks in your system (both IDE/SCSI) in realtime. I know that the IBM feature tool can read the temperature of the drives and run an exerciser at the same time to see how hot they get, but it would be nice to be able to keep an eye on the temperatures of the drives in my system as I'm actually using it. Cheers,

Dave

Hi

This seems to work with IDE drives that are connected to the IDE controllers on the motherboards southbridge, but not for SCSI drives or IDE drives on a seperate IDE card... :( Cheers anyway!
