What satellite service are you looking at? Those are definitely not DirecTV receivers.

C-band?

(also moved to B&G)

Does Sea Ray still use a balsa core? Do they in boats that "small"?

Buying & dealing with boats is always a headache, even when they are working well and you are enjoying them.

CBS did a promo piece on the CES show, they showed an SUV with the Sat dish mounted, good for 8 phone lines, DTV, high speed internet, all for $80 a month unlimited use I believe. Available in Feb/March IIRC.

This one is my second favorite, although I like it for its solid state dish, not for the "receiver" electronics as you refer to them.

yeah I like this one too, it's perfect for getting into accidents.. and sudden laughter and shouts of joy, make for the perfect distraction. Expect it to be on the borderline of legality from your friendly highway patrol officer.

I'm waiting for those diamond semiconductors to kick in... for once an excellent use for diamonds.

I think this one is the best

No parabolic dish required.  However, available only in Japan.  Damn, those japs get everything first  :P

Here's an upcoming phone from Samsung that's made to receive the signal from the above Sat.

So this would qualify as the "best satellite receiver" :)
