  1. They are available on Newegg now! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16822136260
  2. I am considering a new server and looking for opinions on which would be the fastest setup for a server with light-moderate (more on the light side) database use, and web server. The options are : Option 1 - 2 x Raptor 150gig RAID 1 Option 2 - 4 x 250GB SATA II Drives 7200rpm RAID 10 Option 3 - 3 x 250GB SATA II Drives 7200rpm RAID 5 I guess my main interest is what is the performance difference between a single Raptor and a RAID 10 or RAID 5 of regular 7200 RPM SATA drives? I would like the extra storage space of option 2 or option 3 if it isn't a huge performance difference. I don't know the exact model of the SATA drives other than : SATA II hard drives include a 3.0Gb/s interface with 8MB of cache and rotation speed of 7,200RPMs. Additionally these drives use NCQ for enhanced performance.
