  1. *Update: I incorrectly posted the wrong model number as ST3500641AS-RK. Correction below: Seagate Barracuda 500GB HDD ST3500320AS 7200.11 32MB cache buffer SATA 3Gb/s 7200 RPM NCQ Full manufacturer spec sheet: http://www.seagate.com/ww/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=c89ef141e7f43110VgnVCM100000f5ee0a0aRCRD#TabContentSpecifications Died after one year. Had extremely light load! As in hardly used. Booted it up on San for backups once every 3 weeks. Backups consisted of 100-500MB worth of data each use. Last check, 0 smart failures Head just crashed out of the blue... No longer detectable as it clicks and clicks... Drive had been used on *nix based iScsi San. Single drive mode, not in a raid configuration. Rma has been processed. Ran fast and somewhat quiet. Never ran as hot as my Maxtors.
