  1. Need help picking an adapter that will give me the most throughput for my SM951. I have an Asus Z97 Deluxe with only m.2 X2 slot. Hoping to use an adapter card to get as much speed as possible. The Addonics says its PCIe 3.0 x4 lanes.... then I found one on Amazon that says its x4 (PCIe?) and has a heatsink for the M.2 drive and made for Samsung XP941. Which PCIe M.2 card is best to run?
  2. I just installed a new 4870 and after this HD sentinel reported 50% drive performance and the system was dragging bad. I restarted the system and its back at 100%. I start to defrag and then watch HD sentinel... it drops to 50% after 5 min. The system begins to drag again. I benchmark the drive and it has the same benchmarks as it always gets and feels fast again even tho it says 50%. It will get so slow it will struggle to launch firefox. This is with a Raptor 150X, Abit IP35-PRO in win XP. ANy ideas? Is there any newer firmware for the drive?
  3. I am running HD sentinel and it shows my drive with this error. "Problems occured during the spin up of the disk. This can be caused by the disk itself or huge power load (weak power supply). It is recommended to examine the log of the disk regularly. All new problems found will be logged there." It shows my health now as 88% because of this. Is there a way to clear this out of S.M.A.R.T? I am sure this had to do with a firmware update I did. The program says the drives life is 88% which is annoying knowing it only two weeks old. I would like to clear it somehow and see if it returns. I tried seagate tools but could not see any option to clear the error. I did run thier tests which said the drives is fine. Thx for any input.
