What Are Some Of The Top Performers

    Thank you.
  2. I've heard that not all Solid State Drives are created equal. I was wondering which ones were fast, power consumption isn't an issue. I'm thinking for just the Operating System 80GB should be enough.

    Windows 7 Upgrade

I'm not sure what Hard Drive came with this Laptop. I would have rather done a clean install, but I was to lazy to back everything up.

    Windows 7 Upgrade

I broke down and did the Upgrade; I figured it couldn't be any worse than Vista. Boot up time is much faster.
  5. I know in the past Microsoft's Upgrades have left much to be desired. I was wondering if Upgrading from Windows Vista (Home Premium) to Windows 7 (Home Premium) was any better than it has been in the past.

How to Achieve Best Results w/ Readyboost

I did say, Vista Home Premium. So Readyboost has a noticeable performance gain in Windows 7?

How to Achieve Best Results w/ Readyboost

I'm not seeing any performance gain.
  9. I just started using Readyboost 8GB Stick formatted NTFS and was trying to use it as a Page File without success. So my question is would I change the size of my Page File on the C Drive? I'm using a laptop, Windows Vista Home Premium, 2GB Ram. What would be the best system settings?

    Is anyone excited about Vista?

It appears that a lot of you feel the way I do; Microsoft wants to make more money. I was excited about Microsoft's next generation operating system until Microsoft starting removing some of the promised new innovations, now it looks like Vista is just window dressing to provide more profits instead of new technologies.
  11. First is Vista 32 or 64bit and is it worth the extra expense that Microsoft is asking for it? I'm not overly thrilled with Microsoft right now so I might be a little biased. I don't really see any major improvements to warrant an upgrade from XP Pro. How do you feel about Vista and is it worth it?

I backup my Computer on a seperate Internal Hard Drive; Ghost.

What's the hot tip on the Video Card market

Solid Works, Games, Photoshop 7, I'm considering Windows XP 64. Ultimate goal is to have a quiet and very fast System!

What's the hot tip on the Video Card market

Memory: TWINX2048RE-3200 XMS3200 2048MB 3-3-3-8 2x184 DIMM Black The above Memory is Registered ECC. So you think going with a Single Dual Core is a much better option?
