The SanDisk Ultra II SSD quotes sequential read speeds up to 550MB/s and write speeds of up to 500MB/s while leveraging TLC NAND flash. SanDisk’s new drive also comes equipped with nCache 2.0 technology, which uses a two-tiered caching architecture in order to optimize drive speed and endurance. SanDisk Ultra II SSD Announced

Is it just me, or is SanDisk's naming convention confusing?  I can never tell what's new, what's old, slow, fast.  You really need a code wheel to figure out what is what.

It's funny, I asked why this isn't Ultra III since it's after the Ultra I and Plus. I agree that the messaging could be cleaner.

Calling a value TLC drive "Ultra" is pretty retarded - how to improve over this? Super and mega are clearly below. "Titan" worked well for nVidia :D

Besides this it looks like a fine drive.
