So it's NASHDD minus the NASworks and 1 year of warranty. :rolleyes:

We're sort of getting to that point now in the HDD space...they're quickly segmenting in to a few tiers, though the differences between those tiers can be very small. We have the hybrid drive data complete, that review will be up shortly as well FYI.

Wow, the Seagate Desktop HDD.15 holds up pretty good... and performance of the WD Black 4TB is quite a bit lower than I would have expected.

The new WD Black 4TB looks impressive for what, hardware-wise, is a minor improvement. The work they put into the firmware... damn.

Did anyone compare it to the Barracuda 72000.14(ST3000DM001), I mean with the same 1TB Platters but just 5900 compared to 7200 I don't see the 15 being a better performer than the 14.
