Debian Raid 0 Server

I'm trying to build a Debian fileserver from an old AMD athlon machine. I have the Debian operating system running on a 160GB harddrive that is connected via Sata to the motherboard. I believe everything to be good thus far.

Next I added a 3ware 9650SE controller and 2 WD 1TB Drives (2TB Total). Not really sure how to proceed at this point. Should I partition the two Raid drives as 1 or 2 partitions (I intend to use them as one big Raid0 drive for reading and writing for the speed that RAID0 offers...No backup is needed)?
What type of file system should I use after drives are partitioned? fdisk -l currently lists the two raid drives as /dev/sda.
