I have an older Mac Pro with one free drive bay. Is a 30gb ssd enough as a boot drive + a few apps ? Documents, photos, vids will be stored in the other 3 hard drives.

Thanks.

With the cost of SSDs these days have you considered moving to a 60GB model that would give you double the amount of space and still stay under $100?

Write speeds on smaller SSDs tends to suffer heavily... 30GB might fit Lion but I don't think it'd fit much of anything else.
