Monster Digital announced today they will be selling a Monster-branded version of the 750GB Seagate Momentus XT.

This latest experiment is completely an exercise in brand power however. Monster plans on offering the drive as part of a "simple upgrade" kit, but the drive itself is the same Seagate product that's available in bare form now.

I am kinda disappointed... I was expecting a gold plated hdd/ssd. Maybe they will use a gold plated usb cable for transferring files? :rolleyes:
