At what point do we Google out.If we cease to find original answers to our questions and simply Google it instead, when do we run out of answers?Would not the only search results have to be questions and not answers  at some point.

Did you just ask a deeply metaphysical question, lol? I had to read it three times to make sure I got the meaning. So if the Internet gets lazy and stops posting solutions, only questions, what happens then? That would take so long the world has probably been blown up by alien robots anyway.

This in one very practical example of why freely sharing information on the Internet benefits everyone.

Forums on the Internet (including Storage Review) are one example of this. Local community volunteers are another. People who donate their idle compute cycles to help with important projects are others.

If you think about it, I'm sure you can find numerous other examples (both in real life and online) where people contribute freely of their time and information to help others. Posted Image

I agree with you. Forums are one of the efficient and easy ways of sharing information for their members. Being involved in a forum, you can easily post questions and immediately get answers (depending on what questions you are asking and how active the forum is).

Yes forum is the great place to share information and knowledge. The other type of websites that enables users to easily contribute content is wiki. I notice wiki sites (pioneered by Wikipedia) is getting more popular now.
