This is a good point, even if the F3 is more ideal for the intended use from a single drive perspective.
I'll still have to ascertain whether it's ideal for RAID usage, in case I decide to go that route.
My initial plan is to just span all the disks, but I will play with software RAID, & later
maybe even hw RAID.

The usage pattern of Storage/BU drives typically dictates larger, more sustained, R/W's does it not?
So I was thinking, assuming the F3 still has an edge over the Black in this area, it'd be the better pick.
