Hey all-
I'm running WinXP with a Live Value and Cambridge Soundwork's 4-speaker syste (plus subwoofer). Using Creative's diagnostics, I can get sound out of all four speakers. Now how do I get my Winamp output from all four speakers?

If you are using winamp to play cd's then I dont know of a way to get them to play in surround sound. However, mp3's should play on all speakers as long as in your creative Surround Mixer you have your speakers set as 4 speakers not 2. I have the Live! Platinum 5.1 and it plays in surround just fine with winamp.

now this is weird - if I unplug the input into the subwoofer for the rear speakers, then the music plays on all 4 speakers and the subwoofer gets louder. With the rear plugged in, the sub gets quieter and only a constant, tiny sound comes from my rear speakers.
Weird. Guess I'll just leave my rear unplugged
