Backup your node.prp file which is located in the following directory with the default installation:

C:\Program Files\SengentD2OL\D2OL\res

You need to backup that file so that if you ever to reinstall D2OL or you will not create additional nodes and leave the old ones idle. You cannot delete a node after it has completed work units. You don't want to be stuck with old non-productive nodes do you? So, try to save and reuse your current nodes.

If you do end up needing to reinstall/freshinstall D2OL, you should install the software and cancel out the registration. Then copy back your node.prp file that you previously saved into the /res directory and restart D2OL.

Keep crunching team!

...and if we have already deleted/re-installed/re-added machines? Is there a way to merge old nodes with new ones?
